About the Mi Amor Esthetics Program
The Mi Amor Esthetics Program is an 1000-hour long course that combines the convenience of online learning materials and the practicality of in-person lab, training, and discussions with real clients at Mi Amor Beauty Lodge, our beauty salon. We offer full-time (6 months), part-time (12 months), and accelerated (3 months) schedules to accommodate your availability, and we offer a post program apprenticeship as well as esthetician-in-training opportunities while you are enrolled in our Mi Amor Esthetics Program. Please note, you may need to enroll in more than one semester, however the total cost of the Mi Amor Esthetics Program attributes to all the semesters you may need to enroll in (you do not have to pay additional tuition costs or fees per semester).
Mi Amor Academy uses Pivot Point LAB (Fundamentals of Esthetics) as the foundation of our program. Mi Amor Academy is an english language institution; all our course materials are taught in english and our program focuses on preparing US military personnel and their dependents, who are eager to build their career in esthetics, to be successful in whichever state they are transferring to.
Pivot Point Lab (Fundamentals of Esthetics) strongly aligns with our passion and mission to provide only the highest level of education, and we are excited to be a part of a global community of educators and beauty professionals that seek to empower individuals and jumpstart successful careers.
It is important to note that the Esthetician Certification Program at Mi Amor Academy certifies successful completion of the Pivot Point Fundamentals of Esthetics Course Curriculum. Further licensing and registration at any given country, state, or prefecture to practice as an esthetician is a separate process. Thanks to The Capstone Project included in our Esthetician Certification Program, students receive one-on-one, personal guidance on how to get licensed wherever they are planning to get licensure.
